Shadan Seng Raw and Khaing Aye Nyein

As part of the collaboration between the Yangon University of Economics (YUE) and the University of British Columbia (UBC), Shadan Seng Raw and Khaing Aye Nyein from EMPA-16 had the opportunity to enhance their research skills and pursue public policy studies at the UBC in Vancouver, Canada. Supported by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) program, the two EMPA graduate students participated in the 2019 winter term of the UBC’s Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs (MPPGA). Both recalled the experience “enriching, rewarding, eye-opening and an excellent opportunity”.
