Ms. May Myat Noe and Ms. Thae Wutyi Soe from MPA 18th Batch of Department of Applied Economics and Mr. Paing Phyo Thwin from its 19th Batch were awarded a competitive scholarship by Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The scholarship is funded by International Development Research Center (IDRC), Canada under the project “Building Policy Research Capacity in Myanmar”. It covered to pursue the Master Degree in Gender and Development Studies at the School of Environment, Resources and Development, AIT for the period 2018 Fall Semester to 2020 Spring Semester. Prior to this, they earned the bachelor degree from Yangon University of Economics with a specialization in Public Administration. Thus, they all are actually the authentic products of Yangon University of Economics.
